Leading SOS distress signal device manufacturer designs world’s only single-cell CR-123 IP68-rated floating flashlight

F1-CR123 Floating FlashlightSAN DIEGO, California — May 16, 2023 — Sirius Signal, the leader in marine safety innovations, today announced the launch of model F1-CR123 80 lumen Floating Flashlight. This powerful fully submersible waterproof floating flashlight fits in the palm of your hand.

A rugged fully recyclable ABS housing encloses the single pre-installed user-replaceable CR-123 battery. Electronic module components are high-grade anti-corrosive machine-billeted aluminum.
“Most comparable lights use three AAA alkaline batteries, which always wind up corroding and leaking,” said Sirius Signal CEO Anthony Covelli. “We wanted to create what has never been done: a single-cell lithium-powered light.”

A mechanical on-off switch ensures the highest reliability. With a simple twist on, the flashlight is ready to operate in any emergency, land or sea. It is triple O-ring sealed and features a bright two-tone exterior finish.

“There are a world of black flashlights that just get lost in cluttered drawers or gloveboxes,” said Steve Caldero, Sirius Signal VP of Sales. “This unique yellow and orange flashlight jumps right out with its vibrant colors. “You will not misplace this floating flashlight and its super bright high performance light, which runs 12 hours, makes it ideal for use on the water, for hiking and for home safety.
